Born in Barcelona, where he studied and began working, Lluís Jordà is a sculptor firmly rooted in his country's artistic traditions. His sculptures bear witness to his great sensitivity and romanticism. Following in the footsteps of the great Catalan sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries, he incorporates modern artistic trends, succeeding in creating works of great beauty, with lines that are both classical and modern.
His sculptures are increasingly appreciated in various European and American countries. Limited editions in bronze and multiple copies in cold-cast bronze/resin demonstrate the same creativity, craftsmanship and meticulous finish.
He studied art at the Barcelona School of Arts and Crafts, then at the renowned Academia Baixas art academy in Barcelona.
Initially oriented towards painting, he switched to sculpture in the early 80s and began working in the studio of master sculptor Guerau Calabia, in Mataró.
Exhibitions in several galleries in Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia, Bordeaux in France and elsewhere.
